Excavator Operators

Trillium is now seeking experienced Excavator Operators around the Fort Myers, FL area!

This will start out as contract work for the next 6 months but could very well lead to full time employment with the company.  It is for a company that specializes in producing rip rap, and specialty aggregate materials in several different quarries around the surrounding areas in FL.  

Most equipment that is run is Front End Loader (CAT 950) and will run an Excavator and a hydraulic hammer attachment on the excavator. May also run a tracked scalper/screener & stacker. 

Work will be between two quarries in Naples, FL and LaBelle, FL.  They also load and offload material from railcars to multiple locations.  Duties will include operating equipment to produce required materials, servicing/maintenance of equipment, loading trucks, and unloading rail cars.  MSHA training is preferred but will train the right individual.  

Pay is around $22-24/hour DOE.  MON - FRI usually getting 50 hours per week.  

Company will pay mileage reimbursement for drive if it’s more than 30 miles.  Some overnight travel is required about 2-3 times per month.  Would only be gone for 3 days or so when needed to travel. All expenses paid. When/if hired on, company full time benefits, health insurance, 401k plan, holidays, and PTO. 

Qualifications

- Must have valid DL and reliable transportation

- Must be able to pass all background/drug screen requirements

- Must have excavator experience

- Must be willing to travel overnight a few times per month
