Equipment Operators Needed in BC: Up to $50/hr with Company Car, Overtime Paid and Flexible Schedule

The duties of a Heavy Equipment/Excavator Operator include:

• Operating heavy equipment such as excavator and compact track loader.
• Inspecting, safety reporting, cleaning, lubricating and refilling equipment; and
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance in machine’s logbook
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings with a proficiency to make calculations and adjustments in grades.
• Maintain and store equipment and materials in a clean, safe working manner
• Maintain a meticulous, clean, tidy and safe work area

Ideal candidates of a Heavy Equipment/Excavator Operator will possess the following:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Excavator Operator. Excavator operator certification is an asset;
• One year experience installing storm, sanitary, water, hydro infrastructure;
• Must have a vehicle to commute to work and a valid class 3 driver’s license or class 5 with heavy trailer endorsement with a clean driver’s abstract;
• Heavy Equipment Mechanical/Technical proficiency is an asset;
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member, while equally motivated working independently;
• Ability to adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
