Equipment Operator Trainee

Contract to hire

Larose LA 70373

Pay rate $16.75/hr

Rotation Details 28 days on x 14 days off rotation - offshore

Hours: 12 to 14 hours shift

The candidate should reside in Larose or cities nearby. Candidate must be willing to work offshore on rotation and be able to request a TWIC card.

Equipment Operator Trainees mainly activities are rigging up and down the Wireline unit, assisting with equipment and tools maintenance and refueling the units during the offshore operations.Responsibilities:

Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
Ensure individual and crew work safety.
Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.
Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Maintain the required safety training
