Entry Level Field Hands Needed in AB & SK 15 & 6

We are excited to be hiring Entry Level Field Drivers at select districts: Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Red Deer, Fort St. John, Lac La Biche, Lloydminster, Kindersley, Swift Current, Estevan.

No previous oilfield cementing experience is required!

Class 1 Mandatory Entry-Level Training (M.E.L.T.) are available for this opportunity. Housing available while on rotation for exceptional candidates.

General Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates with a strong safety mindset to drive trucks and operate specialized pumping equipment. This is a Safety sensitive position.

• Safely assist with rigging-in and other functions at the job site as required
• Ensure units are clean, and completing shop duties as directed when not in the field
• Working with Sledge hammers, hands tools, hydraulic & pressure pumping equipment
• Complete preventative procedures as directed, maintain equipment, and support the crew
• Once trained, Field Hands Safely drive well servicing equipment to and from well sites

Qualifications

Required:

• MUST possess a Full Class Drivers License; manual experience preferred
• A clean abstract is required. No suspensions + incident free driving history
• Previous experience should demonstrate a commitment to labour intensive outdoor environments: Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Military, Construction, Manual Labour, etc.
• Team focused work ethic and a SAFETY conscious attitude
• Curious mind and desire to learn; ongoing training and development is provided
• Capable of working in extreme weather conditions on a 24 hour on-call schedule
• Physically fit and able to complete demanding tasks for extended periods of time

• Local candidates are preferred, housing available while on rotation for exceptional candidates at select locations
• Skills regarding mechanical aptitude, problem solving and math are an asset
• Individuals with Canadian Armed Forces, or Agricultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply!
