Electricians Needed in Fort McMurray

The successful applicants are responsible for safe troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and controls on Heavy Mining Equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Provide technical diagnosis and perform maintenance on various makes of electrical system, mainly 930 Electric Haul Trucks;

– Ensure work is completed safely and an FLRA is completed at the beginning of every job or when a job changes;

– Perform electrical repairs according to standards, procedures and practices set out by industry and KMC Mining;

– Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met;

Technical and Education Requirements:

– Journeyman Electrician certification;

– Possession of a valid driver’s license;

– Proven safety training and exceptional safety record;

– A minimum of 1 year experience in troubleshooting, repairing electrical systems & controls on 930 Electric Haul Trucks.

– Must have CSTS/OSSA/BSO

Rotation & Accommodation:

– The normal shift rotation is 14 on 14 off (days/nights)

– Monthly Living Allowances will be provided to the successful candidates

– Transportation will be provided to and from site and town.
