ATI Canada is currently looking for Mining Electricians in our Fort McMurray Oil Sands Region for Workshop Based, Camp positions.

  • Starting rate $66.70/hr for 90 days then $70.86/hr + Bonuses after successful completion of probation period.
  • $1.25/hr Tool Allowance
  • Up to $1/hr Performance Bonus
  • Annual blended package $212,565.84/yr
  • Attractive 14/14 schedule (Overtime Available)
  • 12-hour rotating day/night shifts

Looking for Mining Electricians with open-pit mining experience on the following systems:

  • Wenco mine dispatch systems
  • Modular Mining Systems
  • HP GPS
  • Mineware scales
  • DSS systems
  • Sat radios
  • Tire sense systems
  • Motion Metrics tooth detection systems
  • Weigh scale systems
  • Passive solar repeater tower systems
  • Adaptmac/Veridapt fuel systems
  • RFID tag systems

All successful candidates must have:

  • Journeyman / I.P. Red Seal Electrician Certification is required.
  • Mining background is heavily preferred.
  • strong 12/24 volt DC circuit troubleshooting skills.
  • A strong understanding of mining technology including wireless networks, driver safety system, tire monitoring systems, satellite radios, GPS, tooth detection, equipment health and safety reporting and wireless signal troubleshooting and analysis
  • Class 5 driver’s license / clean driver's abstract needed.
  • Possesses excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities able to develop solutions on the fly.
  • Ability to operate computer-based maintenance troubleshooting software such as: CAT E.T., CAT SIS, Cummins Insite, Komatsu, Hitachi, etc.
