Electricians Journeypersons and Apprentices 

Location: Warburg, AB

Duration: 10 month duration +/-

Remuneration:

• $50.82 /hr straight time for Journeypersons
• $3.00 Premium per hour on Night Shift
• $138.00 per day worked Incentive Bonus T&Cs apply
• $42.00 per day worked travel allowance
• Hourly rate inclusive of vacay and stat pay

Work Conditions 

• 10 hours per Night
• Night shift starts at 7.00 pm daily

• 8 hours Regular Time and 2 hours 
• Overtime per day worked
• 5 / 2 Rotation
• Two 30-minute breaks (first break paid)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
• Safety training provided
• Limited bussing available

Project description:

Repowering of existing Unit 1 & Unit 2 steam turbines at Genesee Generating Station 1 x 1 combined cycle blocks, which include one frame gas turbine generator (GTC), and one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The GTC includes a bypass stack and shall be capable of simple cycle operation.
