Electrician Permanent

As a valued member of FLINT, you'll bring your skills as a qualified Electrician to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing crucial electrical components that underpin the seamless functioning of our facilities and operations.

In this permanent role, you'll enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule unless you're engaged in an exciting project on a client site.

What would you be doing?  

• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts. 
• Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures. 
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. 
• Position, support, and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators. 
• Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and equipment. 
• Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety. 

Does this sound like you? 

• Have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician ticket. 
• Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid.
• Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees. 
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines. 
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
