Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians 

Location: Jansen, Sask

Project: BHP Jansen Potash Mine Project  

Pay: $44.45 / hr Journeyperson Base 

Position: Full time

Benefits

  • Apprentice Rate depends on the level
  • Camp Jansen Discovery Lodge
  • Plus 6% Vacation
  • Plus 4.5% Stat pay
  • Plus 3% RSP contribution
  • Plus 3% Matching Pension
  • 10 days on 4 days off shift rotation
  • 100 Hours per rotation 80 hours regular 20 hours overtime
  • Two 30-minute breaks (first break paid)

Job Details

  • As an Electrician for our PCL Energy Edmonton District, you will contribute to our team by:
  • Having excellent communication skills
  • Being able to work in a team or alone
  • Being able to take direction
  • Being safety conscious and adhering to all PCL safety processes and policies
  • Having the qualification and training requirements are dependent on specific work conditions

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
  • Safety training provided

Travel / Transport

  • Bussing available to and from Regina and Saskatoon
  • Travel allowance is available depending on the radius to the site

Pre-employment

  • Applicants from Saskatchewan will be considered first
  • A negative Drug & Alcohol test required
