In the electrician role, you will be responsible for inspecting transmission lines, wiring, and machines for safety. You will troubleshoot electrical problems, report incidents and hazards, and maintain compliance with the national electrical code. Success in this role will be demonstrated by implementing preventive maintenance to sustain operations and avert costly power-related disruptions.

Electrician Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Replaces and repairs transformers, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, and other electrical devices as needed
Demonstrates proper use of electrical tools and devices such as ammeter, voltage testers, wire strippers, and pliers
Cleans and adjusts electrical equipment
Conducts periodic inspection of electrical systems (branch circuits, panel boards, transformers, meters)
Identifies faulty and malfunctioning wires, sockets, and other electrical parts
Measures, cuts, and installs electrical cables and conduit systems
