FieldBridge Energy is looking for Operator Assistants to work for one of the world's largest oilfield services companies. This position is based out of Prudhoe Bay, AK. If you're looking for a place to build a career where you can quickly move up the ranks in both pay and position, this is the opportunity. With the 3/3 schedule, make a lot of money and receive 1/2 of the year off to yourself to spend with family.

Alaska based employees only. MUST be mechanically inclined, i.e. fixing cars, construction maintenance, etc. General labor position. Job will be assisting with operators and supervisors during normal operations. Duties will start off with general housekeeping and shadowing experienced personnel for on the job training. Machinery/tools used: Pumps, shakers, mills, hand tools, power tools

  • Pay Rate: $18 per hour, ~ $2,120 per week
  • Schedule: 6am-6pm, 3 weeks on 3 week off, housing + flight from Anchorage to North Slope + all meals covered
  • Benefits: Healthcare benefits + dental/vision, 401K, get paid every Friday

Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

The Operator Assistant is responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands. They assist in the rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment, and in the operation of some or all of the following equipment: shale shakers and screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling and slurrification systems, and vacuum and pressure washing systems.

Key Functions:

  • Help the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer prepare equipment for jobs
  • Perform noninvasive maintenance pertaining to final preparation of surface and downhole equipment and ready boxes.
  • Help prepare and organize documentation for such activities as calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections and, if necessary, third-party quality control and inspections.
  • Prepare equipment and associated critical spares for shipment and staging at a predetermined location or loading zone.
  • Load equipment onto trucks in the absence of base or operational planning support, or the Equipment Readiness Operator or Technician.
