Drywall Finisher/Hanger / $23.00-$25.00 per hour DOE / 3+ Months Project

Drywall Framers/Hangers 

Location: Englewood, FL.

Pay: $23 -$25 per hour (based on experience)

Duration 3+ months

Schedule: 

• Sunday- Thursday; 9:00 pm-6:00 am
• Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 
• 5 days per week

Start: ASAP!

Job Summary

• Commercial building remodel. 
• Drywall framing, hanging, finishing, back blocking.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years' experience

Job Details

• Measuring and marking cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim using tape measure, straightedge, or square, and marking devices
• Identifying the exact locations of windows, electrical outlets, and plumbing, and then cutting the drywall or ceiling tile to fit the precise size needed
• Cutting drywall to the right size, using utility knives and power saws
• Fastening drywall panels to interior wall studs, using nails or screws
• Installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Filling joints, holes, and cracks with compound, using a trowel and broad knife
• Trimming and smoothing rough edges so boards join evenly without visual defect
• Maintain safety practices at all times

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, bending and lifting

• Must have all PPE
  

Travel/Transporation

• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
