Vacuum Equipment Operators 

Location: Kitimat, BC 

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00/hour DOE

Fly-In: From Edmonton, Calgary & Vancouver

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operate a variety of trucks and equipment, including but not limited to: Vacuum truck and Forklift;
• Ensure that all containers are properly secured, labelled and stored in compliance with facility requirements;
• Perform yard maintenance duties as required;
• Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance;
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner;
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.

Certificates & Licenses

• Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required.

Experience

• Experience operating a vacuum truck and/or heavy equipment (i.e. excavator) is an asset;
• Landfill experience is an asset

Requirements

• Local candidates are preferred; must be willing to relocate to Kitimat, BC;
• Previous industrial/waste handling experience is a strong asset;
• Willing to Hire/Onboard Green Drivers!

Work Conditions

• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day;
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
