Dozer Operator w/GPS - Lubbock, TX Pays $23-$26/hr

We are seeking a skilled Dozer Operator with experience operating GPS technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dozer operations and the ability to use GPS technology to accurately and efficiently grade and excavate construction sites. The Dozer Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, maintaining equipment, and working closely with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate dozers equipped with GPS technology to grade and excavate construction sites

- Read and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate and precise grading

- Monitor GPS system to ensure proper grade is maintained

- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment

- Communicate with construction team to coordinate work and address any issues or concerns

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that may arise during operation

- Complete daily equipment logs and reports

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years' experience operating dozers

- Experience operating GPS technology preferred

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans

- Strong understanding of dozer operations and maintenance

- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Physically able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
