Direct Hire Opportunity: Service/Travel Technician $30/hr + Overtime (When Traveling)

Service/Travel Technician

Job Type: Direct Hire 

Location: Windsor

Salary: $30/hr + Overtime when traveling

Work Conditions

• Shift
• Traveling would be Mon-Fri with occasional Sundays.

• 1/3 of the job is traveling, 2/3 of the job is in the shop
  
• Approximately 1 week a month out of state.

• Company paid car with gas card

Certificates & Licenses

• Need to have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Company prefers COVID vaccinated due to traveling
• Must have a passport or be able to get one - need to travel to Germany for initial training 2-3 weeks

Knowledge & Skills

• Electrical/Plumbing and Mechanical knowledge

• Knowledge of common system controls, Siemens S5 & S7.

• Knowledge of hand and power tools

• Ability to read schematics.
  
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively and independently.

Experience

• 3-4 years experience in this field - prior technician work

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

Responsibilities:

• Installing parts cleaning machines at client sites. 
• Providing support to customers.
• Servicing (performing PMs).
• Working with chemicals.
• Travel to jobs - by company vehicle or plane.
