 AZ Driver

Location: Hamilton, ON

Position: Full-Time

Job Type: Direct-Hire

Salary: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Hours: 50-60 hour work weeks

Job Description: 

As an AZ Driver, you will play a crucial role in meeting customers' hazardous waste needs, demonstrating expertise in a team-based environment.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of A-Z driving experience
  • Experience traveling on Canadian and US Routes (asset)
  • Experience with hauling dangerous goods/hazardous loads

Certificates & Licenses

  • Bondable with a valid passport and/or FAST card

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Operation of equipment such as Vac-Tanker, Dump Trailer, B-Train, and Shell Tanker beneficial
  • Ability to be an independent-minded worker who enjoys interacting with people

Physical Requirements

  • Reasonable physical exertion required, with some climbing in and out of trucks and short-distance pallet truck pushing

Schedule: 

  • Monday to Friday 
  • Day Shift
  • Possible weekends included
  • Early starts required
  • Varying between 5 am - 7 am
