Decommissioning Labourers Needed Central AB on a 21/7: $400/day + $50/day LOA, Accommodations

Competition Well Services is currently seeking Oil and Gas Abandonment laborers for project work in the South & Central Alberta area. This is a permenant, full-time position with a 21/7 rotation.

Accommodation (Employer paid) and subsistence ($50/day) is provided when working more than 1 hour from CWS home base.

Reporting to the Site Superintendent this position is responsible for:

• General labour duties associated with site decommissioning and abandonment
• Operating hand and power tools
• Dismantling buildings, piping, pumpjacks etc.
• Disposing of scrap material
• Driving 1 ton truck and pulling 32ft trailers on winter roads
• Safely launching and receiving pigs
• Participating in all CWS health, safety and environmental inspections, programs etc.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• 1 year direct, oil and gas field experience an asset, but not required.
• Welding experience an asset, but not required.
• Experience working with pipeline maintenance and/or pigging an asset, but not required.
• H2S, First Aid, CSO, WHMIS/TDG, Ground Disturbance Level II preferred
• Clean Class 5 driver's license minimum, Class 1 or 3 an asset
• Experience working around/operating heavy equipment
• Ability to lift 50lbs, and work in outdoor conditions which may be hot/cold/wet etc
• Position is subject to pre-employment A&D testing for illegal substances
• Reliable transportation to the CWS Yar
