What Snelling is Hiring for:

Machine Operator

Location: Aurora, CO

Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 40 hrs + OT
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 BOE
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Duties:

  • Preparing machinery for daily use
  • Inspecting machinery for safety issues
  • Training other employees
  • Loading raw materials into equipment for manufacturing
  • Making necessary adjustments and repairs
  • Monitoring equipment as it runs
  • Handling reporting paperwork and data entry
  • Operating conveyor belts in industries like shipping logistics

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the constant use of protective gear
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and communication skills

  • Physical stamina and strength

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree is a plus)

Pre-employment

  • Background screening
