Electrician

Location: Big Bend, WI

Pay: $27-36/hour DOE

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with the current National Electric Code.
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgears.
• Complete work orders and accurately record materials used on jobs.
• Run computer cables, connect computer jacks and plugs, and test for proper operation.
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals for project completion.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plan for efficient execution.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs according to timelines.

Education

• High school diploma/GED required.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the electrical trade preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

• Demonstrable knowledge and skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
