Journeyman Electrician (Temp to Hire)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: Up to $26/hr DOE

Hours: 

• Monday-Friday
• 8 am - 5 pm 
• Possible OT opportunities available

Job Duties:

• Prepare sketches indicating the location of wiring and equipment, following diagrams or blueprints.
• Plan new installations or modifications to minimize material waste and provide future maintenance access.
• Layout and install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs for installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical components.
• Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
• Maintain current Journeyman Electrician's license to meet governmental regulations.

Education

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree

Certificates & Licenses

• Current State Issued Journeyman Electrician's License
• Valid driver's license

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills

Experience

• Experience in lighting is a plus
