Crane Operator (Tower Crane, Level A-White Rock location) Up to $50/hr

We are currently looking for a Crane Operator " Level A tower crane" (White Rock, BC)

The Solterra Construction Corp. specializes in developing and building top-quality Highrise residences and townhomes. Over the past 18 years, the team at Solterra has been involved in developing many award-winning multi-residential communities throughout the Lower Mainland. Current Location – White Rock, BC

Responsibilities

• Conducting equipment inspections
• Ensure all loads are secure/adhere to the load chart
• Experience in High-rises/Towers
• Communicate effectively
• Coordinate with Rigger and interpret hand signals, as well as, communicate using a 2-way radio
• Determine safe lifting capacities, think & react quickly under pressure –while following safety guidelines and protocols

Requirements

• Valid certification –
• Experienced in understanding and maintaining within-load charts, keeping maintenance log books, conducting inspections
• Experienced in maintenance & function of crane operations
• Abide by manufacturing specifications regarding maintenance/ greasing schedule)
• Good Communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in Canada, jurisdictional qualifications
• Must be a team –player that has reliable transportation, and fit for duty
