Residential Maintenance Field Technician II

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $20+ BOE

Hours: 

• Full-time
• Monday-Frida
• 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Benefits

Essential Job Functions:

• Schedule work orders, travel, and supply runs efficiently
• Perform general concrete/masonry duties
• Carpentry: rough and finish carpentry duties
• Plumbing: repair and replace hot water tanks, shower diverters, sweating copper and fixtures
• Electrical: minor electrical repairs, modify both line and low voltage
• Other duties: installation of insulation and drywall, hardware, and specialty items
• Prioritize and perform tasks independently with minor direction
• Must be punctual, reliable, groomed, organized, and a self-starter

Credentials and Experience:

1. Prior experience with special needs individuals preferred.
2. Must have prior experience in residential or facilities maintenance or construction.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand and power tools
• Capability of lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds on a limited basis
• Capability of lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds using assist equipment
• Work sites are scattered, involving travel between sites

Other Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Pass criminal background check (FBI & BCI) – must supply fingerprints
• Drug Testing
• Driver's license with less than 6 points
