Do you have experience working in residential wood-frame construction and are considering the next step in your career? We're looking for a Lead Hand to be proactive in the delegation and completion of various tasks on site. Join our crew and apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Delegating labourers to specific tasks
  • Taking the lead on specific labourer related tasks to ensure an efficient workflow
  • Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
  • Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site
  • Move and level earth using shovels and rakes
  • Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed
  • Practice work place safety at all time
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead labourers, as well as follow direction as required
  • Previous experience in a related position
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Willing and able to easily follow direction
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Willing and able to work long hours in a fast-pace, physical environment
