Concrete Associates

Location: Stony Plain, AB

Salary: $27/hour

Position: Long-term, permanent 

Hours: Day Shift 

Responsibilities:

• Interpret construction plans and specifications for formwork requirements.

• Set up and assemble Duraform panels accurately with proper bracing.

• Measure, cut, and shape formwork materials as needed.

• Place and secure reinforcement materials, tying rebar according to specifications.

• Safely strip formwork from concrete footings after curing.

• Coordinate concrete pouring and oversee consistency.

• Use tools to manipulate and finish concrete surfaces.

• Monitor curing processes and apply curing compounds.

• Possess a Class 5 driver's license and must be able to drive.

• Be familiar with cribbing and residential foundations.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience as a Concrete Cribber, especially with Duraform systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.

Certificates & Licenses

• Class 5 driver's license with own vehicle.

Personal Attributes:

• Dedicated, willing to learn and listen.

• Self-starter with a motivated and outgoing attitude.

• Able to work with little direction, taking initiative.

• Possess own hand tools (hammer, measuring tape, tool belt).

Tools & Equipment

• Must have steel toe boots and hard hat.

• Willing to use provided ear protection and attend safety classes.
