CNC Machinist Position Now Available in the Rancho Cordova, CA ($25.00 to $35.00 DOE)

CNC Machinist 

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA area

Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 based on experience.

Job Type: Direct hire 

2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Work Conditions

-OT is required when needed. 

-Possible Saturdays based on need.

Job duties:

-Operating CNC machining equipment to produce parts using blueprints provided with understanding of relation to GD&T.

-Loading tooling for jobs and measuring tool length offset, making tooling boxes for jobs.

-Inspect parts produced for accuracy, flaws, or areas of concern.

-Communicate problems with work holding and programming to supervisor and machine programmer.

-Communicate tooling needed with supervisor for upcoming jobs, design and produce fixturings for upcoming jobs.

-Load and unload parts and materials per job requirement.

-Blend and Deburr parts during cycle times. 

-Monitor tooling and adjust as needed

-Pro-actively monitor machine performance, trouble shoot errors or low performance output, monitor coolant and oil levels on machine and fill as needed

-Programming of Mazatrol and/or G-code.

Education

-High School Diploma or GED Required.

Experience

-Experience or Technical Training related to Manufacturing.

-Minimum 5 years of experience responsible for full operational process. To include use of blueprints, measuring equipment, inspecting equipment, and lifting devices.

-Strong math abilities, blueprint comprehension and verbal/written communication.

-Strong attention to detail with ability to follow detailed instructions.

-Ability to maintain a neat and organized work area while maintaining safety, quality and being consciousness of time and to meet deadlines.
