 Industrial Cleaner

Location: Bryan, Texas 77802

Pay Range: $15 - $20 per hour

Position: Full-time

Work Schedule: 

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours a week
• 0700-3:30 (Mandatory)

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Perform cleaning duties in the utility plant, equipment, and grounds, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Conduct pressure washing of equipment as required.

Painting Assistance:

• Assist the painter in surface preparation, masking, and brush/spray painting of buildings and industrial equipment.

Light Mechanical Work:

• Undertake light mechanical tasks as needed under the supervision of UES personnel.

Flexibility and Punctuality:

• Demonstrate flexibility in handling various tasks as assigned.
• Maintain punctuality in adherence to the Monday-Friday 40-hour work schedule from 0700-3:30.

Attention to Detail:

• Pay close attention to detail in all cleaning, painting, and mechanical tasks to ensure quality work.

Independent Work:

• Ability to work unsupervised while conducting cleaning tasks and following established protocols.

Safety Compliance:

• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Work in a hot and noisy environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Working at Heights:

• Work from heights and ladders when necessary, with the ability to receive fall protection training if required.

Attire: 

• Full-length pants and no open-toed shoes.

PPE provided:

• Hard hat
• Gloves
• Hearing protection
• Fall protection (if working from heights after successful completion of fall protection training)
