Class 3 driver 

Salary: $23.00/hour

Job Type: Casual

Position: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate truck and trailer.
• Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks, as needed.
• Transport materials and equipment to designated locations.!
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• Operating a variety of hand tools and or equipment.
• Delivering building supplies around Southern Alberta.

Certificates & Licenses

• Class 3 driver's license.

Travel

• Reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work with medium and heavy lifting on a regular basis.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials is an asset.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.
  
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Driven with the ability to take initiative

Experience

• Previous forklift experience is preferred.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
