Sr. Estimator

Location: Nisku, AB

Pay: Competitive

Key Responsibilities:

Compile estimates for providing clients with products or services.
Determine project costs, considering materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
Analyze quotes from suppliers and, when necessary, sub-contractors.
Production of all relevant documentation in adherence to company procedures.
Interpret detailed scopes of work, drawings, and specifications.
Travel to operational sites for surveys and meetings.
Collaborate with company managers, supervisors, foremen, and clients.
Provide guidance, advice, and technical support to management and supervisors.
Manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines.
Interact with field/site management and corporate/functional management.
Interpret and understand client requirements.

Education

College degree or at least 5+ years of craft knowledge in Scaffolding and/or Insulation.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
Competent in using Navisworks 3D models & AutoCAD software.
Ability to problem-solve, organize, and prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and concise communication in written and oral form.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced and diverse environment.

Essential Functions:
