General Helpers

Location: Alberta

Pay: Starts at $18/hr

Benefits: After 90 days

Travel/Transportation

• FIFO from YEG or YYC available with shuttle service to site from Fort McMurray.

Schedule 

• 7 days on, 7 days off working 12 hour days. 
• Shifts start on Wednesdays.

Job Details

● Wash, scrub, clean, and sanitize designated kitchen and dining areas

● Clean/mop kitchen and dining room floors and sanitize tables

● Clean refrigerators, ovens, and other kitchen equipment

● Wash pots, dishes, glasses, cups, etc., after each meal and as required

● Deep cleaning as required

● Restock and rotate desserts, sandwiches, beverages, and condiments

● Assist in loading, unloading, and placing supplies and inventory

Knowledge & Skills

● You have knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and

equipment. 

Certificates & Licenses

• Current WHMIS required.

Experience

● Ideally, you have related experience in a camp setting or hotel setting.

● You are fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.

● Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.

● Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely.

Personal Attributes

● Able to work in a fast-paced environment; You can prioritize multiple demands and

organize a work schedule.

● You have a strong customer service focus and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.

● You are able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

● You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others.
