What Express Employment Professionals is Hiring for:

CWB Welders/Fitter  

Location: Barrie, ON

Salary: $32-44/hr

Position: Full-time, perm

Schedule

  • Rotating shift 
  • 2 weeks mornings
  • 2 weeks afternoons

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and use of Mig, plasma, torch, grinder, drill
  • Fitting and fabrication of new formwork
  • Repair and service of existing formwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Work effectively on a team and individually in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintenance of equipment following proper LOTO procedures
  • Fabricate forms, cut steel with torch and plasma cutter
  • Operate overhead crane

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Overhead crane and rigging experience

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience

Certificates, Licenses & Tickets

  • Skilled in the use of MIG, Stick, all positions

  • CWB Ticket

Tools & Equipment
  • Able to use a wide variety of hand tools and equipment

Pre-employment

  • Drug check
  • Background screening
