Entry-level Labourer 

Sector: Parks and Recreation

Location: Medicine Hat, AB 
Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $22.60/hr to $27.03/hr

Position: Temporary Full-Time hours

Responsibilities: 

  • Routine grounds, turf, landscaping, irrigation, trees, parks, and facilities maintenance.
Education

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Certificates & Licenses

  • Current Class 5 Driver's License with a stellar driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting objects up to 40 lbs.
Work Conditions

  • Available to work evening and weekend shifts.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Preferred enrollment in Horticulture, Turf Maintenance, Landscape, or Construction.Proven grounds maintenance experience (preferred).
Ideal Candidate: 

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of small equipment
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Dependable, safety-minded
  • Able to tackle tasks with limited supervision, team player.
