Labourer
Location: Coronach, SK
Project: SaskPower Coronach PRPS
Job Type: Temporary, Full Time
Duration: April 29, 2024, to June 28, 2024
Pay: DOE
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform various manual construction, maintenance, and servicing activities
- Operate, monitor, inspect, and repair vehicles, equipment, and tools
- Move, sort, and pile materials and products manually
- Participate in preventative and corrective operational and maintenance programs
- Provide on-the-job instructions and general work directions to staff
- Adhere to all applicable safety and environmental standards
- Participate in continuous educational and professional development
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to cooperate and deal tactfully with others
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Certificates & Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Tools & Equipment:
- Hand and powered tools, light duty mobile equipment
Work Conditions:
- Safety-sensitive position requiring mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position
Pre-employment:
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
