Structural Ironworker

Location: Leroy, SK 
Job Status: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive

Project end date: September 2024.

Description:

  • Join the Ledcor team as a Journeyperson Ironworker on the BHP Headframe project in Leroy, Saskatchewan. Your focus on safety and quality makes you an integral part of our industrial construction projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Stick build steel erection for structural steel building and panelization.
  • Bolt up and impacting.
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications for work layout.
  • Position steel units, align holes, insert temporary bolts, and check alignments.
  • Heavy lift, rigging, and setting of building modules.
  • Ensure crew, equipment, and environment safety.
  • Complete work during regular hours.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority.
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • OSSA Regional with CSTS/BSO or CSO, Fall Protection.
  • Elevated Work Platform and Confined Space are assets.

Tools & Equipment

  • Must have basic Ironworker tools.

Pre-employment

  • Criminal Background check (exceptions provided on a case-by-case basis).

Work Conditions:

  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day.
