Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic

Location: Appleton, WI

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $28-$33+ per hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: 

• 1st Shift 
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Description: 

• Diagnosing equipment repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting maintenance on both customer and company equipment. 
• Resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues for various heavy equipment and related machinery. 
• The repair process will include the disassembly and assembly of components.  

Experience

• 2-4+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment.

Education

• Technical, Vocational, or Trade School education is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge and experience with heavy equipment, mining equipment, or diesel engines required.
• Firm understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints, preferred.
