What Express Employment Professionals is Hiring for:

B Pressure Welder

Location: Medicine Hat, AB

Salary: $38/hr to $42/hr

Position: Full time

Hours: Morning/ Evening Shifts 

Job Details

  • Responsible for executing fabrication projects in accordance with our welding procedures
  • Working with other employees as a part of a team, 
  • Meet and maintain the quality expectations 
  • Read and interpret welding process specifications

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
  • Ensure all welding equipment is clean and functional
  • Participating in, accepting, and adopting the safety principles

Certificates & Licences

  • Hold a valid Alberta B Pressure Welder Certificate and pass a shop “B” Pressure weld test

Qualities

  • Commitment to promoting and being a part of a safe, and continuous improvement
  • Results oriented and a team player

    • Have the ability and desire to become efficient with welding techniques, 

    • Learn new skills as required.

      Experience

      • Experience in vessel or spooling
      • Vessel and or spooling fitting an asset

      Work Schedule

      • Ability to work 5- 10 hour shifts per week
      • Either day or evening 
      • Optional Overtime

      Pre-employment

      • This is a safety sensitive position, 
      • Pre-employment health assessment
      • Drug and alcohol test.
