B Pressure Welder

Location: Medicine Hat, AB

Salary: $38/hr to $42/hr

Vacancies: Several

Start: ASAP!

Position: Full time

Hours: Morning/ Evening Shifts Available 

Job Details

  • Read and interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
  • Ensure all welding equipment is clean and functional
  • Participating in, accepting, and adopting the safety principles

Certificates & Licences

  • Hold a valid Alberta B Pressure Welder Certificate and pass a shop “B” Pressure weld test*

Qualities

  • Commitment to promoting and being a part of a safe, and continuous improvement
  • Results oriented and a team player
    • Vessel and or spooling fitting an asset

      Experience

      • Experience in vessel or spooling

      Work Conditions

      • Ability to work 5- 10 hour shifts per week, 
      • Either day or evening 
      • Optional Overtime

      Pre-employment

      • This is a safety sensitive position, 
      • You may be required to pass a job-related pre-employment health assessment
      • Drug and alcohol test.
