Loader/Laborer 

Client: Bulk Plus Logistics

Location: Concord, ON

Pay: $27 per hour

Schedule/Shift: 

• Monday to Friday 
• OT opportunities after hours
• Weekends, or Sunday to Thursday shift.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plastic resin transload and railcar storage facility.
• Operate railcar loading systems and equipment (Trackmobile operator and conductor).
• Read and follow company and site-specific policies and procedures.
• Pass CN & CP eRail safe background checks.
• Participate in safety training programs.
• Professional interaction and collaboration with other BPL Team Members and customers.
• Weigh scale operator (scaling trucks in and out of the facility).
• Communicate and verify self-load transfers.
• Assist with maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
• Work safely, using proper and supplied PPE.

Skills:

• Clear and concise radio communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment.
• Operation of hand tools and air tools preferred.
• Positive work ethic and attitude.
• Team Player.

• Basic computer skills.

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid Driver's License or ID.

Tools & Equipment

• Ability to work with power and/or hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Physical fitness for the duties performed.

Work Conditions

• Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.

Experience

• Previous industrial experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating machinery preferred.
• Rail Car Loading and Unloading experience preferred.

Educational  

• Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
