What Brock Group Inc is Hiring for:

Site Superintendent

Location: Red Deer, AB 

Pay: Competitive

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site safety, quality, cost, and schedule
  • Plan and schedule resources, monitoring and taking corrective actions
  • Assist in developing and implementing project Execution Plan, Quality Control Plan, and Site Safety Plan
  • Execute detailed project plans, including timelines, scheduling, logistics, purchasing, and training plans
  • Manage changes to project scope through defined change management process
  • Resolve customer issues/discrepancies
  • Ensure proper authorizations and approvals are in place before commencing work
  • Assist in quoting and performing preliminary job walks
  • Manage job cost and profitability, tracking billable and non-billable activities
  • Audit ongoing operations and identify opportunities for field efficiencies
  • Manage outsourced services within project constraints
  • Recruit and hire craft personnel within budgeted constraints
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor site personnel
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Regional HR Manager to resolve employee issues
  • Stay current on industry trends and participate in continuing education
  • Attend site meetings and proactively seek involvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Client/Brock incident reporting policies
  • Review safety manual policies and recommend enhancements

Skills & Abilities:

Experience:

  • 10 years of craft supervision experience
