Architectural Sheet Metal Worker $45/hr

We are seeking journeyman sheet metal professionals for lucrative, full time opportunities with our client in Coquitlam, BC.

Sheet metal workers will be responsible for reading engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and laying out, measuring, and marking mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates.  They will install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering, etc. to fabricate, and grind/buff seems, joints, and rough surfaces.  

Qualified candidates must be journeyman sheet metal workers with at least 2 years of relevant architectural experience (roofing preferred), good attitudes, and the ability to work 8-10 hours daily from Monday - Friday.  Our client is offering $40-45/hr, benefits, and more for candidates who meet their requirements and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to the job.

Required Qualifications :

• Sheet Metal Worker C of Q (strongly preferred, we may consider candidates who are not journeymen, but have at least 5 years of relevant architectural sheet metal experience
• Must be able to work full time Monday - Friday
• Working knowledge of metal standards set by RCABC
• Familiar with the installation of multiple cladding systems and flashing applications
• Working knowledge of metal machinery and associated power tools
• Good communication skills, positive attitude
