Currently we are looking for Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitters for various project throughout Alberta. Please note this job postings will be used to fill future vacancies.

Key Tasks:

  • Read interpret drawings.
  • Assist in installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel.
  • Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging.
  • Select type and size of pipe.
  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe.

Requirements:

  • Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Valid AIT Steamfitter/Pipefitter membership
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO), CSTS-09, or CSTS-20
  • WHMIS 2015
  • H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada Preferred)
  • Fall Protection Certificate (Energy Safety Canada Preferred)
  • Elevated Work Platforms Certificate (Energy Safety Canada Preferred)
  • Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
  • Physically capable of performing all tasks required of field Steamfitters/Pipefitters
  • Previous experience working as a pipefitter, steamfitter, apprentice, or, welder is desirable
