Job Description
FLINT is actively searching for Journeyperson Electricians to join our dynamic team in Grande Prairie, AB, with an immediate start. As a valued member of FLINT, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing critical electrical components essential to our facilities and operations. Commercial experience is an asset.
FLINT has a project starting April 9th, 2024, going until June 6, 2024, with the potential to transfer to other projects after. Don't miss your chance to be part of our dynamic team and embark on this career adventure with FLINT!
What would you be doing?
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
- Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.

- Have a Journeyperson Electrician or Indentured Apprentice Level Ticket
- SAFETY TICKETS: H2S Alive, AWP, Fall Protection and Standard First Aid
- Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
