Apprentice / Journeyman Millwright (Nisku, AB) Full Time: $40.50 Per Hour

Advanced Piping Systems is looking for a Journeyman Millwright, Pipefitter or Plumber to Join our growing team. we will also accept applications for Apprentice Millwrights. Special consideration will be given to an applicant with Hydraulic Experience. We will Train the right applicant if needed. APS Is Located in Nisku, AB so applicants must be local, or willing to Re-Locate.

This is a Long-Term Position in a great team atmosphere, with room to grow with the company. Our technicians have worked all over Canada, as well as some special projects in South America when required.

The technician will install piping / tubing systems, Crimp and Install Hydraulic Hose and Remove and Re-Install Various Pumps and Filter Units as directed by the Project Coordination Manager. Their task is to complete projects using in-situ design criteria as well as engineered systems in compliance with APS installation procedures. Ultimately the Technicians report to the Operations Manager.

Duties:

• Install project systems as required.
• Complete all necessary installations requiring flushing & commissioning.
• Oversea project when requested.
• Complete detailed project progress reports e.g. time, equipment, materials used / requested & safety forms.
• Perform site liaison when instructed between APS & client.
• Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System.
