What PCL Energy is Hiring for:

Electrician Apprentices 

Location: Warburg, Alberta

Pay: Up to $41.58 /hr 

Hours: 5 / 2 Rotation

Position: Full time

Project description:

  • Repowering of existing Unit 1 & Unit 2 steam turbines at Genesee Generating Station 1 x 1 combined cycle blocks, which include one frame gas turbine generator (GTC), and one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The GTC includes a bypass stack and shall be capable of simple cycle operation.
  • 10 month duration +/-

Remuneration:

  • The apprenticeship rate will depend on your level
  • $138.00 per day worked Incentive Bonus T&Cs apply
  • $42.00 per day worked travel allowance

Work Conditions

  • 10 hours per Night: 8 hours Regular Time and 2 hours Overtime per day worked
  • Two 30-minute breaks (first break paid)
  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
