What PrideStaff is Hiring for:

API Pump Mechanic.

Location: Houston, TX 77075.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $35-$45/HR.

Schedule: First shift.

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of centrifugal pumps for industrial clients.
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect various types of centrifugal pumps.
  • Use precision measurement tools to gather and record critical dimensions.
  • Recommend repairs and collaborate with job coordinators to create scopes of work.
  • Rebuild pumps to API specifications and document all steps.
  • Ensure punctual and consistent attendance.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience as an API pump mechanic.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas through drawing, sketching, and written inspection forms.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Tools & Equipment

  • Proficiency in operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools.
  • Must have own mechanic tools.

Pre-employment:

  • Background screening may be required.
