Aluminum Welder

Location: Plaquemine Southwest, LA

Salary: $20-35/Hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm

Status: Full-Time/Long-Term/Evaluation Hire

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision aluminum welding using various welding processes such as TIG and MIG to fabricate and assemble structures according to engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare aluminum materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or issues in the welding process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents.

Experience

• Experience as an Aluminum Welder, with a strong portfolio of successful aluminum welding projects.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques for aluminum materials. Familiarity with other welding processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding to meet high-quality standards.

Certificates & Licenses

• Certification in TIG or MIG welding
