Project Engineer

Location: Surrey, BC, CA

Employment Status: Full-Time Temporary

Salary Range: $47.85 - $59.38 Bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage technical studies by external consultants, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate internal technical specialists to review and accept deliverables.
• Develop strong relationships with FortisBC stakeholders, including Engineering and Operations.
• Implement concepts into reality by engaging with project execution specialists.
• Identify and champion continuous improvements in service to key stakeholders.

Experience

• Four to seven years of engineering experience with registration as a mechanical or chemical professional engineer.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of natural gas transmission and/or distribution pipeline system design and construction practices.
• Leadership capabilities with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced technical capabilities and successful mechanical and/or process engineering experience.
• Extensive knowledge of computer systems and specialized software.
