What Express Employment Professionals is Hiring for:

Civil Eng- Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Utopia, ON

Salary: $27.00/hr

Position: Full-Time

Job Duties

  • Carry out Quality Control testing and inspection of raw materials
  • Quality Control testing and inspection for all phases of production
  • Carry out all physical testing in the Quality Control Laboratory
  • Write out procedures, techniques, equipment, as well as QC safety
  • Reading drawings, drafting, then interpreting drawings with specific measurements
  • Imputing access information
  • Advising appropriate production department of any irregulates and consistently reporting all test results to Engineering department

Qualifications

  • College diploma from Civil Engineering Technologist program (recent grads)

Experience

  • Co-op experience within the field idea
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Attention to detail (important measurements come down to millimeters)
  • Strong communication is highly important

Travel/Transportation

  • Vehicle required as this opportunity is not accessible by bus

Work Conditions

  • This is a steady position with opportunity for overtime. 
  • Rotational shift- flexible availability will be required.
