2024 Turnarounds Need Welders, Pipefitters & Rope Access Technicians in Fort McMurray, AB - Up to $67/hour, 6 & 1, 12 Hour Shifts, Overtime Paid

WSQ Industrial Services Ltd. is actively recruiting for Journeyman & Apprentice Welders, Pipefittes and Rope Access Technicians for a variety of projects for the Spring Turnaround season at Oil Sands sites throughout the RMWB. Turnaround applicants must be committed to work on schedule from March - June 2024, with the possibility for future work opportunity. Journeyman Wage Range: $56.00 - $67.00Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off rotation - 12 hour shiftsTimeline: Estimated start date of March 15th, 2-4 month duration

What You Will Bring

• Must be a registered Apprentice or Journeyman Welder.
• IRATA Certified or willingness to gain IRATA rope access certification is required.
• Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
• Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.
• Solid technical skills as a Rope Access Technician is ideal.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
• Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
