Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring the highest quality and precision in the finished products. The Welder/Fabricator will work with various materials, interpret engineering drawings, and use a range of tools and equipment to complete assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Welding and Fabrication:Perform welding and fabrication tasks based on project requirements using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and cutting tools.
2. Material Preparation:Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper joint integrity.
3. Reading and Interpreting Blueprints:Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements and dimensions.
4. Quality Control:Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
5. Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
6. Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and report potential safety hazards.
7. Collaboration:Collaborate with team members, engineers, and project managers to achieve project goals and timelines.
8. Problem-Solving:Identify and troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process, implementing effective solutions to ensure project success.
9. Documentation:Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational or technical training in welding is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse welding and fabrication projects.

Certificates & Licenses

• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS) are a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy and welding principles.
• Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment and tools.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Comfortable working in various positions and environments.
