Maintenance Tech

Location: Fort Worth, 76108

Pay: $20/hr - $21/hr BOE

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Schedule: 

• Monday Friday; 5am - 3:30pm
• Once hired perm, you will work every other Saturday

Job Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance based on schedule on the turning CNC machines, milling CNC machines, welding machines.
• Performing tools inspection on grinding/buffing tools, impact wrench, crimping tools to ensure good conditions, fill up the check list and repair if necessary.
• Perform maintenance & repair based on request from other department to be carried out on assigned equipment or machines.
• Perform documentation and report on maintenance or repair that have been done including type of repair taken & parts replacement.
• Comply with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules, guidelines, standards, procedures, best practices, policies and regulations of the company and the government.
• Safely use industrial rigging equipment and overhead cranes to load/unload part heavy materials on maintenance/repair work.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and tidy (housekeeping/5S)
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for methods and procedures that contribute toward more efficient and economic on machines, equipment or tools

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in the manufacturing related to maintenance andor mechanical

• High School Diploma or GED

• Lifting to 50lbs and ability to stand/walk 10-12 hours shifts
• Comfortable working in areas that are usually noisy and dirty
